What others measured
This NordVPN review is based on the provider's published plans, prices and features, plus independent tests. Our editorial team has not tested it. On paper it covers the basics well, with 10 devices per account, a kill switch, a no-logs policy checked six times by an outside firm and a 30-day refund window, but every plan renews at a much higher price than the first term.
Results published by independent testers, not by us. Each tester uses their own method, so their figures may not compare directly with each other.

Fit
Who it suits
Choose NordVPN if
Choose it if you want a large server network, a kill switch and an audited no-logs policy, and you are happy to pay up front for one or two years. The Complete plans also suit people who want a password manager, antivirus and cloud storage in the same subscription.
Look elsewhere if
Look elsewhere if you want a free plan or a price that stays low, because renewal prices are much higher than first-term prices. Readers in India who need a server physically inside the country should note that NordVPN's India location is virtual.
Questions people ask
Is NordVPN worth it?
On paper it offers a lot: 10 devices, a kill switch, an audited no-logs policy and a large server network, and independent tests report small speed losses. It is best value on a one- or two-year plan, since renewal prices are much higher than the first term.
Does NordVPN have a free trial?
NordVPN offers a 3-day free trial on Android. On other devices the 30-day money-back guarantee works as a trial: you pay first and can ask for a full refund within 30 days. Purchases made through the App Store, Google Play or Amazon must be refunded through those stores.
Does NordVPN keep logs?
NordVPN says it does not track, collect or store users' connection data. An outside audit firm checked this claim for the sixth time between November and December 2025 and found its systems in line with the no-logs statement. Customers can read the full report after logging in to their Nord Account.
Does NordVPN have servers in India?
NordVPN lists an India location in Mumbai, but its server list marks it as virtual rather than physical. It shut down its physical servers in India in June 2022 after India's CERT-In ordered VPN providers to collect and keep user data.
How many devices can I use NordVPN on?
Every plan covers up to 10 devices at once with a single account. The limit is the same on Basic, Complete and Complete Max.
What is the difference between NordVPN Basic, Complete and Complete Max?
Basic is the VPN with scam and phishing protection and dark web monitoring for up to 5 emails. Complete adds antivirus, an ad and tracker blocker, a password manager and 1 TB of cloud storage. Complete Max adds a dedicated IP address on top of that.
